READING WRITING AND RACE REVISITED: ROSENWALD SCHOOLS IN PRINCE GEORGE'S AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES
This year's exhibit will profile African-American schools built with assistance from the Rosenwald Foundation. Thorough historic photos and artifacts, the exhibit highlights a list of Rosenwald schools that were featured in America's 11 Most Endangered Historic Places by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 2002. The exhibit's centerpiece includes the recently renovated Ridgeley Rosenwald School, which is considered to be one of the county's best examples of this type of educational facility. FREE
